Edgar Wilson played Division I college baseball for Coppin State University of the MEAC conference from 2000 – 2004. He signed as a non-drafted free agent with the Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic league in 2005 after an impressive showing during spring training against various Major League affiliate teams. He didn’t see much playing time because of his age but was taught to play the game correctly mentally and physically by various Major League Vets like Wayne Gomes, Kevin Jordan, manager Wayne Krenchicki, and former Houston Astros Centerfielder Brian Hunter. Wilson is currently applying what he learned by continuing to pursue a Major League career via minor league baseball. Wilson played for the Edinburg Coyotes of the United League from 2006-2008. He currently resides in McAllen with his wife and three children while passionately teaching and training youth in the Valley to work hard and train like a pro.
